This is a temporary solution to use the WRQ R1 terminal emulation
software with HP Eloquence on Linux.
The Linux curses version has problems to deal with HP Terminals
(enhancements are sometimes either lost or garbaged).


Installation:

1. Unpack the em220r1.tar.gz file im directory /opt/eloquence6/share/
   This will create files em220r1.ti em220r1.map (symbolic link)
   and em220r1.README.

2. Install the terminal type

    env TERMINFO=/opt/eloquence6/share/terminfo tic -v em220r1.ti

   You could also make this terminal type available globally:

    tic -v em220r1.ti

3. Set the TERM environment variable to em220r1

    TERM=em220r1

4. Configure the R1 software:

    * Terminal emulation VT220-7
    * Softkeys 1..8 type "normal" should return Ep ...
    * VT Backspace sends Backspace
