This is a replacement for the eloqdb6 as distributed on
media with datecode before 70908. This fix is already included
in media with a later datecode.

The HP Eloquence A.06.00 database server had a problem with dbpurge.
While the database was removed, the entry in the sysdb table (server
catalog) was not removed, so a database with the same name could not
be created again. 

After installation of the new eloqdb6, the database volume files must
be removed and re-created, because the internal catalog information is
inconsistent (even with the new eloqdb6 you are not able to remove 
databases which already expose the problem).

Installation:

Windows: 
Download the eloqdb6-win32.zip file and unpack with
winzip or PKZIP. Please copy eloqdb6 into the HP Eloquence
installation directory (after stopping the eloqdb6 service).

UNIX:
In order to install eloqdb6 you need to unpack it with gzip. 
Gzip is included with Linux and HP-UX 10.x and can be obtained 
for HP-UX 9.x from this ftp server in the /pub directory.

gzip -dc eloqdb6-hpux.tar.gz | tar xf -
chown root:root eloqdb6
chmod 555 eloqdb6
