HP ELOQUENCE A.06.31 - patch 0209040

This patch fixes a defect of the eloqsd server as released
with A.06.31. This patch will be integrated in a subsequent
release.
A.06.31 must be installed before applying this patch.

* The eloqsd did not accept new connections if it was restarted while
  active eloqcore processes were still present.


Patch PE63-0205080
------------------

Platforms: Linux, HP-UX

* This fixes a problem with the COMMAND statement not returning
  exist status of operating system commands when started by eloqsd.
  This was caused by a problem in eloqsd not resetting the signal
  handler correctly before exeuting eloqcore (#1084).


Installation
------------

HP-UX and Linux:

In order to install this patch, you need to unpack it with gzip.
Gzip is included with HP-UX 10.x and Linux.
Installation requires root privileges.

cd /opt/eloquence6
gzip -dc /path/to/PE63-0209040-hpux.tar.gz | tar xf -

Windows NT:

This patch should *only* be installed if you previously installed the
HP Eloquence server components on your system.

Download the PE63-0209040-win32.zip file and unpack with WINZIP or
PKZIP. Installation requires administrative capabilities.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THE EloqSD SERVICE has been STOPPED previously
(in the Service Control Manager). Please copy the eloqsd.exe file
into the WINDOWS SYSTEM DIRECTORY (for example C:/WINNT/SYSTEM32).
